1. Setup Preheat the oven to 425°F. Cut the potatoes into fries. Follow the next step then come back to step 1. Cut the carrots, the onion and the pepper into small cubes. Cut the pickle in half.
2. Cook the potatoes Spread the fries onto a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Add a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper. Cook in the oven 24-28 minutes until colored.
3. Cook the vegetables Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the carrots, the onion and the bell pepper and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
4. Cook the meat Add the meat, the brown sugar to taste and the spices. Cook for 5 minutes or until fully cooked then add the sauce. Season to taste.
5. Plate your dish Reheat the bread 1-2 minutes in the oven. Garnish the hot dog rolls with the sloppy joe mixture. Serve with fries and pickles. Serve each part of the meal family-style and let your children make their own plate. Bon appétit!
