Butternut Squash Pizza

with caramelized onions and fontina cheese

1. Setup Preheat the oven to 425°F. Slice the onions. Chop the sage.
2. Make the roasted squash In a bowl, combine the squash with half of the honey, the spices and half of the sage. Season with salt and pepper and spread on a baking sheet. Cook in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
3. Make the caramelized onions In a pan over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Add the onions and the rest of the honey. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook 8-10 minutes. Toward the end of the cooking, add the rest of the sage.
4. Roll out the dough On a floured work surface, roll the pizza dough to make a large pizza or smaller individual pizzas. Kids can make their own pizza, it might be imperfect, but it will also be delicious.
5. Assemble and cook in the oven Spread the pizza dough on a baking sheet. Garnish with the caramelized onions, the cheese and the squash. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
6. Plate your dish Serve the pizza. Garnish with the pumpkin seeds. Bon appétit!
