Crispy Chicken Bao Buns

with cucumber, carrot and spicy mayo

1. Setup Grate the carrot. Thinly slice the cucumber. Separate the cilantro leaves. Slice the chicken into strips.
2. Bread the chicken Put the sour cream in a bowl with 1-2 tbsp. of water. Put the panko in another bowl. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Cover with the sour cream then coat with panko.
3. Cook the chicken Fill the bottom of a pan with oil and heat over medium high heat. Cook the chicken pieces 3-4 minutes per side.
4. Steam the buns In a steamer, cook the Bao buns for 3-4 minutes or until warm and soft. If you don't have a steamer, put them in a strainer over a pot of boiling water and cover. The buns should not touch the water. Put parchment paper in the strainer so that the buns don't stick.
5. Plate your dish Garnish the Bao buns with the mayo, chicken, cilantro, carrot and cucumber. Bon appétit!
