Pork Bao Buns

with hoisin sauce, green onion, peanuts and edamame

1. Setup Chop the peanuts and the green onions. Cut the cucumbers into small strips. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
2. Cook the pork Coat the pork chops with 2 2P | 3 3P tbsp. of hoisin sauce. In a frying pan over medium heat, add a drizzle of oil. Cook the pork chops 4-5 minutes on each side. Once cooked, remove from the pan and cut into pieces
3. Prepare the edamames Cook the edamames in boiling water 3-4 minutes. Remove from the water and place in a bowl. Add a drizzle of olive oil and season with salt. Keep the water boiling for the next step.
4. Steam the buns In a steamer, cook the bao buns for 3-4 minutes or until warm and soft. If you don't have a steamer, put them in a strainer over a pot of boiling water and cover. The buns should not touch the water. Put parchment paper so that the buns don't stick.
5. Plate your dish Serve the pieces of pork in the bao buns. Garnish with the cucumbers, the green onions, peanuts and remaining Hoisin sauce. Serve with the edamames. Children can garnish their own bao buns. Bon appetit!
