1. Cook the pizzaPreheat the oven to 425°F. Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature. Roll the dough with the flour to desired thickness. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with a light drizzle of oil. Add salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes. If the dough swells or air bubbles form, simply pierce it and flatten it.
2. SetupThinly slice the shallot. Chop the capers and dill.
3. Pickle the shallotPut the shallot in a small saucepan with 1/4 cup of wine or cider vinegar, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1/4 cup of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and let marinate. Drain before serving and cool under cold water if necessary.
4. Plate your dishSpread the cream cheese on the pizza. Garnish with the smoked salmon, capers, shallot and dill. Children can garnish their own slice to their liking. Bon appétit!
