Cook it raises $1.6M in round of funding and launches new campaign titled “This changes everything”
MONTREAL, February 19, 2018 – The Quebec-based company Cook it, is proud to announce the completion of a $1.6M round of financing. and the launch of its new ad campaign. The round was managed by Dragon Arlene Dickinson and her new investment fund District Ventures, following the company’s appearance on Dragon’s Den.
Funds will be used to promote Cook it’s service to a larger number of families. Cook it’s new campaign titled “This changes everything” includes TV, web and out-of-home advertising. The campaign, a series of humorous videos, produced by Pierre-Luc Miville and the Koze team, features the Bouffard family, a family whose life changes completely . with the arrival of Cook it, , allowing them to have a lot more free time on their hands. Maybe a little too much…?
Inspired by real life chaos, the ad campaign depicts the reality of thousands of Quebec families. Forget about the flawless kitchens and the Zen parents we see every day on television, here we portray a caricatured version of what we would dare to call “real life”.
And how does this change everything? Cook it is a magic box that makes meal planning and prepping easier, leaving you with more time for things that matter like family and quality time. Who doesn’t dream of watching a Netflix series or playing a game of Monopoly in the middle of the week?
The video series will be launched online today. Moreover, four massive billboards have been installed on Montreal’s main arteries in an effort to make Cook it one of Quebec’s favourite and most recognizable brands.
