Crispy Panko French Toast

with maple syrup and a fruit salad

1. Setup Peel the orange and the kiwi. Cut into pieces. Rinse the grapes.
2. Make the french toast batter Mix the egg with the milk, the brown sugar mix and a pinch of salt.
3. Make the salad Mix the fruits with the jam to make a salad. Kids could participate to this step.
4. Cook the french toast Put the panko on a plate. Dip the slices of bread in the egg mixture then coat with the panko. Heat a drizzle of oil or butter in a pan over medium-high heat. Bake the slices of bread for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the panko is golden and crispy.
5. Plate your dish Serve the french toast with maple syrup and the fruit salad. Bon appétit!
