Korean Style Beef Strips

with broccoli, kimchi and jasmine rice

1. Marinate the beef Finely grate the garlic. Finely chop the shallot. Add the garlic and shallot in a large bowl with the soya sauce, sesame oil and gochujang Caution Spicy! Add the beef strips, mix and let marinate.
2. Cook the rice Bring a pot with 310 2P | 430 3P ml of water to a boil. Add the rice, cover and cook for 10-12 minutes over low heat until tender.
3. Setup Cut the broccoli into medium-sized pieces. Thinly slice the green onion. Cut the kimchi** into smaller pieces if desired.
4. Cook the broccoli Heat a regular skillet or grill over medium high heat. Coat the broccoli with a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper. When the pan or grill is hot, cook the broccoli 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Set aside.
5. Cook the beef Add the beef strips to the pan or grill and cook for about 2 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
6. Plate your dish Top the beef strips with the green onion and serve with the rice, broccoli and kimchi. Garnish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
