Ribs with BBQ Sauce

with cheddar mashed potatoes and broccoli

1. Cook the potatoes Preheat the oven to 400°F. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Place in a pot and add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and cook 10-12 minutes until tender. Drain then mash with butter and milk to taste. Add the cheddar cheese, salt and pepper and mix.
2. Make the sauce In a small saucepan mix the ketchup with the spice blend, the sauce mix and the liquid smoke. Kids can mix the ingredients. Simmer over low heat for 3-4 minutes.
3. Cook the ribs Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with 3/4 of the sauce. Bake in the oven for 16-20 minutes.
4. Cook the broccoli Cut the broccoli into pieces. Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the broccoli 4-5 minutes until colored. Add salt and pepper.
5. Plate your dish Serve the ribs with the remaining sauce, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Bon appétit!
