Southwest Style Beef Skillet

with macaroni, bell pepper, tomato and cheddar

1. Setup Chop the onion and the bell pepper. Drain and rinse the corn. Cut the tomato into cubes. Thinly slice the green onion.
2. Cook the beef Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan on medium-high. Add the yellow onion, bell pepper and tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the spices to taste and beef, salt, pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes.
3. Cook the vegetables Add the pasta, broth cube, corn and 2.5 2P | 3.5 3P cups of water to the pan. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to medium and cook 14-16 minutes until the pasta is cooked. Stir a few times so that the pasta does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
4. Plate your dish When the pasta is cooked, turn off the heat and add the cheddar on the pasta. Cover 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted. Serve the Southwest beef casserole. Garnish with sour cream and green onion. You can also let the children help themselves to their fill to develop their autonomy. Bon appétit!
